Dingo enclosures need DELWP inspection & approval prior to license application approval.
These recommended enclosure sizes are a guide for best practice husbandry for housing native animals. There is currently NO Code of Practice for keeping native animals in Victoria.
The Marsupial Society of Victoria with other invited groups/organisations have previously consulted with the Department of Primary Industry's (DPI) Bureau of Animal Welfare who were working towards and preparing a Code of Practice for the Private Keeping of Australian Mammals these documents remain in draft format.
